    Hi Valkyrja,

Can you please share information on how to get to Fortune Island?

    • I really don’t know much because I just tagged along. Sorry. In less detail, you can go there from any part of Nasugbu, Batangas (I came from Maryland Resort – http://marylandresort.multiply.com/ ) and it takes about 2 hours more or less to Fortune Island depending on the boat which you can hire anywhere I guess.

Is Fortune Island still open for business?

    • As far as I know it used to be a resort. Last time I checked, its all just some ruins and this cloned shipwreck and you just have to pay entrance fees if you are to spend time there.

Good day! We are Travel Management students from the University of Santo Tomas. We’ve read about your blog on Fortune Island in Nasugbu, Batangas. Currently, we are having our research study about Replica Tourism and our chosen destination is Fortune Island. We would like to ask if you could be one of our survey respondents?

Attached is our formal cover letter and the link to our online survey form:

    https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1gm3hWI5oSJKKj7V2PIUg_znqw-R-rQXZ5kS-6pF_7d4/viewform

We would really appreciate it if you could help us answer the survey questionnaires on our behalf.

    Thank you!!

    • Hello Ms. Santos,

I’ve just seen your comment tonight and I have taken your survey. I do hope the Philippines would not waste time and resources for Replica Tourism… When one replicates something out of inspiration and appreciation, that is something someone can be fond of. But to do that only for business and at the cost something far greater, then that is a sad story.
